Privacy policy

AVAQIN handles personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. What we collect: name, email, phone, shipping/billing address; order and refund history; payment method and transaction details (card numbers are handled by our payment providers — we don't store full card numbers); support messages and photos; and technical data such as IP address, device/browser, pages viewed and email interactions (via cookies).

2. How we collect and hold it: directly from you (orders, support, email sign-up) and automatically (cookies/analytics); held electronically, including in our e-commerce platform and the providers below, with reasonable security steps.

3. Why we use it: to process, dispatch (including international delivery) and refund orders; provide support and handle returns/warranty claims; send order updates and (with consent, unsubscribable) marketing; keep accounting/tax records; improve our products and website; and prevent fraud.

4. Who we share it with (overseas): Canada and the United States — Shopify (platform/hosting) and email/SMS marketing tools; the United States and Australia — payment and fraud-prevention providers; the People's Republic of China — our manufacturing/dispatch partners and international carrier (they receive your name, address, phone and order details to pack and ship your order). We take reasonable steps (including contracts) to ensure overseas recipients handle your information consistently with the APPs and remain accountable under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We do not sell your personal information.

5. Access and correction: contact our Privacy Officer, Ava.Qin.Ava@outlook.com, Zhejiang Province, Hangzhou, Xiaoshan District, Suoqian Town, No. 62 Dongfan Road, Benniaobang Technology Entrepreneurship Park, Zone C, Room 838, China — we respond within a reasonable period (usually 30 days), no charge for requests or corrections (limited access charges are notified first).

7. Cookies: used to run the site, remember preferences, measure traffic and support marketing; manage them in your browser settings.

8. Automated decisions (from 10 December 2026): if we use computer programs to make decisions that could significantly affect your rights or interests (e.g. automated fraud screening or returns eligibility), we will describe those decisions, the information used and how to request human review here.
